“All Directioners will reblog this.” “True Directioners know how many R’s there are.” “Real Directioners know what time and where the boys were born.” “You’re such a Directionator if you don’t think the boys are gay for each other.” “You aren’t a real Direction if you post about the boys on different websites other than Tumblr.” “If you don’t like Eleanor or Danielle, you are a fake fan.” These are the things I hear and read every day. It seems like some of us can’t have our own opinions or thoughts of mind. Apparently, we have to know every damn thing about the boys, we have to agree on the same opinions as them, and we have to make sure we are the most perfect fans. You know what I say? HELL NO TO THAT. I will know the important facts about the boys, but I won’t be a privacy invader and try to get on in their every move, every day. I will respect their girlfriends and family, but that doesn’t mean I have to like them. I might get a few things messed up, like the answer to “What video diary episode did Louis scream, ‘SHE’S MINE!’?” That doesn’t make me less a fan than you are. I’m a Directioner because I love and support every single one of the boys. I am a Directioner because I stand up for them through thick and thin. I am a Directioner because I fell for their personalities before anything else. If I don’t reblog your picture, if I don’t actually love and idolize Danielle and or Eleanor, if I post on Facebook about the boys, or if I even have a different opinion, THAT DOESN’T MEAN I’M NOT A DIRECTIONER. I love the boys and I know you do, too. So stop judging me and others because we’re all different and we all do and think different things. I’m not going to tell you that if you don’t reblog this, you’re not a true Directioner. You can reblog this if you feel the same way, but you don’t have to… because it isn’t going to determine what kind of fan you are.
